Murr has been speaking to groups since he was 14. He really stepped up his game in his early twenties. Murr works with small groups in experiential learning settings, as well as keynotes to groups in the thousands. A few speaking highlights include the privilege of planning a leadership conference for over 300 pastors in Cuba, speaking to over 1,000 students in Brazil, and holding the microphone for his kindergarten class song.

Jerrod Murr is a speaker, missions advocate, and cultural entrepreneur. He is a graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and a member of the Northeastern State University Hall of Fame.  Murr is the founder of Believing in a Better Way, a non-profit movement creatively empowering people to use their gifts for the greater good. He also leads “The 20 Leadership Camp,” equipping students through experiential learning and personal leadership challenges.

Murr currently serves as youth pastor of Muskogee 1st Assembly of God. He resides in Muskogee, OK with his wife, Jenn, daughter Adelae, and Josalyn (on the way).  His favorite book is The Giving Tree, and he loves basketball, the OKC Thunder, and good coffee.
