Jennifer Rae Murr and I have been married for over 10 years. She is the love of my life. I love her more than my job, my friends, my hobbies, and even our daughters. We do not have a perfect marriage, but we have a healthy one. So, I will not presume to be a relationship expert, but I have a tip that I feel is universal for a healthy marriage.
Surprise your spouse with a show of your love.
In this hectic life you will not have time to express your feelings to your husband or wife. Therefore you must make time. The largest myth is that in order to make time it has to be lengthy or well planned or perfect. Not so. It can be small, spontaneous, or quirky. Just make is sincere and personal. Most of all just do it. Leave a post it on the door, drop a favorite treat in her car, or simply turn off the TV.
A couple of days ago, I found a note in my phone that Jenn had typed for me. It was out of nowhere. It was extremely specific and absolutely wonderful. I hope this post makes her feel the same way.
I love you my dear.
